Our members represent the full spectrum of the Home Building and Renovation Industry. SWMBIA isn't just for builders, developers, and sub-contractors. Retailers, financial institutions, insurance agencies, hotels, restaurants, computer services, and many other areas of specialties are included in our Association.
A SWMBIA membership also includes membership with the Montana Building Industry Association (MBIA), and the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). These three memberships provide access to a wide range of products and services to help your business become more profitable.

Advocacy
Working for Favorable Decisions on a Local and Federal Level
SWMBIA, MBIA, and NAHB work locally and nationally to encourage decisions that benefit affordable housing and equitable business practices.
We work with NAHB to prevent the imposition of unnecessary fees and regulations that would disproportionately affect Southwest Montanans.
SWMBIA has worked hard to establish a good relationship between ourselves and the local
government. We're present when the City of Bozeman meets to offer our unique insight.

Connecting Businesses Across Southwest Montana
SWMBIA's greatest strength is our ability to connect businesses with clients and partners with our events. Additionally, our members can usually find exactly what they need with a simple search in our directory or a call to our office.
The Parade of Homes is Southwest Montana's largest home-building trade show. The Parade takes place in September. Come see the latest design trends, local builders and exceptional craftsmanship in beautiful Southwest Montana.
The Home Expo is a yearly convention dedicated helping businesses connect with future customers. SWMBIA Members will have a weekend to interact and display their trade, products and expertise to community members.
Our members meet monthly to catch up, network, share leads, and have a great time. It’s our goal to bring the latest resources to educate, communicate or engage our industry.

SWMBIA members benefit from increased exposure within the community—our events and website all feature our members' names and contact info. We are the resource for the community for any building or remodel needs.

Education
Increase Your Knowledge and Earning Potential
Education is one of the best ways to grow as a business. SWMBIA helps our members prepare for licensing exams and future work with and extensive, free library of resources and discounts on learning materials.
SWMBIA regularly hosts seminars with building industry experts throughout the year for our members' benefit. If it’s important we will bring the education to you. Don’t see something on the agenda let us know. SWMBIA continues to look at industry standards and want to bring it to you and keep it local.
