Job Summary/Function: 
Participate with the project manager in preparing schedules for construction activities, sequence, and resources required for projects. Direct and control construction projects in the field to meet specifications within the allotted schedule, budget, and profitability. Coordinate the activities of subcontractors to permit them to perform their work effectively. Provide daily progress reports to the project manager. Perform quality control measures and document corrective actions for timely completion.

Responsibilities and Expectations:

  • Provide regular job reports to the project manager.
  • Maintain a written daily log with photos that documents critical events, conditions, customer contacts, commitments, and agreements.
  • Ability to effectively communicate expectations to subcontractors.
  • Manage materials to and from job sites (i.e. ability to lift up to 70-100lbs).
  • Direct adherence and enforcement of the company’s safety program.
  • Make decisions under tight deadlines.
  • Organize people, tools, and equipment while managing multiple project activities.
  • Demonstrate leadership skills with the ability and willingness to face challenges, direct others, and effectively address and resolve conflict.
