Welcome to the

Southwest Montana Building Industry Association

The Southwest Montana Building Industry Association (SWMBIA) is a Bozeman-based trade association representing nearly 11,000 residential home building and remodeling industry members. As Montana and the Gallatin Valley continue to grow, working families are finding it more difficult to buy or rent a home. SWMBIA strives to create an environment where all Montanans have access to affordable housing. We are concerned professionals working with pride and integrity to provide the 'American Dream' of homeownership for everyone. It is our desire to help everyone in southwest Montana to achieve this goal.

We are very pleased to offer this site to you. It is our intent to provide you with up to date information regarding our association and the building industry in southwest Montana. Check up on us regularly for our latest additions.

In addition, we add links to controversial and informative issues in the local, state, and national levels that will affect everyone in our industry. Please visit the Government Affairs area of this site often, as it will be the forum that this information will be distributed to our members most efficiently.

It is our intention to include into this site the ability for our members and the general public to find the information needed to build and maintain homes in the Southwestern Montana area. We encourage all visitors to browse through the member pages.
