SWMBIA’s Call to Action
Team is a group of southwest
Montana residents working with the building industry to reduce housing
costs, promote responsible planning and increase home ownership
opportunities. Working together with a strong voice, the team contacts local
and regional lawmakers via e-mail about legislation and local ordinances
that directly affect the cost of housing.
As a team member, you will be asked to
contact your legislators and local elected officials from time to time on
issues of critical importance to the building industry. Although there is
never any obligation to act, we will inform you of opportunities to send
faxes, emails or letters to your legislators and local elected officials
letting them know how you feel regarding a pending topic. We also encourage
you to get your friends, co-workers and business contacts involved.
